Game 1 NCCC 7 OU 2
Game 2 NCCC 6 OU 4
The Neosho County Baseball team headed out on the road for the first time this season and picked up a pair of wins over Ottawa University. The Panthers would use nine pitchers on the day in an effort to get a seldom used bullpen some much needed work.
Tanner Dahl (West Fargo, ND) started game one for the Panthers and picked up his second win of the season tossing 3.0 innings while allowing two runs on three hits while striking out two. He would then turn it over to the bullpen as four relievers would combine to pitch the final four innings allowing only a single hit while striking out five.
David Bote (Thornton, CO) would go 3-4 with a double while scoring three runs to lead the Panthers offensively. Sophomore catcher
Tyler Palmer (El Reno, OK) would add three runs driven in while going 2-3 at the plate to help the cause.
In game two
Tyler Kjellsen (Broken Arrow, OK) would toss three hitless innings to start the ballgame allowing only a walk to go with three strikeouts before turning it over to the bullpen. After a dominate performance in game one, the bullpen was shaky in the nightcap allowing four runs on five hits while allowing five walks.
Dalton Cox (Blanchard, OK) would get the final two outs of the seventh inning before tossing a scoreless eigth inning to pick up the win in extra innings for the Panthers.
Offensively
Jordan Miller (Spring Hill, KS),
Jordan Musto (Tulsa, OK), and
Garrett Schaede (Owasso, OK) would each pick up a pair of RBI's for the Panthers, while
