Rain on Sunday would force the teams to wait an extra day to decide the conference championship. When it was all settled however, Cowley would hold off the Panthers and win the Jayhawk East by a game.

Game 1
When baseball finally resumed on Monday, the Panthers would struggle against Cowley starter Storm Marlar as they could only muster five hits on the day while only pushing one run across on a wild pitch in the fifth inning.
The loss would secure a first place finish for Cowley, and would mean the Panthers would finish in second in the conference.
Matt Strahm went the distance for the Panthers; however the lefty allowed four runs on 10 hits in his six innings of work. The big blow
came in the second inning when the Tigers plated three runs to jump out to a 3-0 lead.
Game 2
For the second time in the series, the Panthers would bounce back after losing game 1 to take the second game of the double header. Nick Fowlbe allowed four runs in 5.1 innings of work, but left the game with the Panthers trailing 4-3. Dalton Cox tossed a season high 2.2 scoreless innings of work to pick up his fourth win of the season.
The Panthers scored a single run in the second inning, and two more in the fifth inning, but took the lead for good in the top of the 8
th. With two on and one out the nations RBI leader Adam Giacalone drove in his first runs of the series with a 2 RBI double to put the Panthers on top for good. The RBI's pushed Giacalones season total to 90.
The Panthers 43-11 after the weekend, and will face Crowder College on Tuesday for a single nine inning game starting at 2:00. The Rough Riders are currently receiving votes in the NJCAA national poll.
