Game 1
For the second time in as many weeks the Panthers would fall in extra innings to open up the series.
Freshman Daniel Peterson would allow a single run in the second before firing five scoreless innings before handed the ball off to the bullpen. Peterson would strike out seven while walking one in his seven innings of work. Max Ising would toss a scoreless inning of relief to send the game to the ninth.
An RBI single off the bat of Eric Dawson would put the Panthers on top heading to the bottom of the ninth. A pair of walks off reliever Tyler Kjellsen would set the table for the Raven comeback as they would push two across to win the ball game 3-2.
Game 2
Adam Giacalone would once again take the hill looking to even the series after an opening game loss. Giacalone would toss six innings allowing two runs on four hits while walking two and striking out eight to pick up his second win of the year by a final score of 8-3.
Austen Colt led the charge offensively for the Panthers going 3-4 with three RBI's while picking up his team leading 10th double of the season. Sophomore left fielder Caleb Compton would continue his hot streak at the plate following his 2-2 performance in game one by going 2-4 in the second game.
