Takuya Suzuki

Takuya “Tak” Suzuki enters his 5th year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Neosho County Community College. Suzuki currently works with the Panther’s Sports Medicine on a day-to-day basis and also serves as an instructor for an athletic training class.

Prior to coming Neosho, Suzuki serves as an intern and a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Upper Iowa University where he primarily worked with baseball, cross country, and golf teams (2019-2020).

Suzuki earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Health Science at Ritsumeikan University in 2018 and also a Master of Science degree at East Stroudsburg University in 2019.

He is a Board-Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Kansas State licensed athletic trainer, and Basic Life Support Provider by American Red Cross. He is also an active member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), and Functional Movement System (FMS). He also has completed the Graston Technique M1, the FMS Level1 course, the Selective Functional Movement Assessment Level 1 course, and the Dry Needling course for Lumbopelvic & Lower Extremity Conditions (DN-2).
