Kristin Chase is an accomplished dancer, choreographer, and educator with a lifelong passion for the performing arts and inspiring others through movement and mentorship. A native of Chanute, Kansas, Kristin began her dance journey at just three years old at R&S Studio and later continued her training at Studio B Dance Center under the direction of Beth Bell. There, she quickly grew from student to assistant at the age of 13, igniting a deep love for teaching and choreography.
In high school, Kristin was a varsity cheerleader and served as Cheer Captain her senior year, where she choreographed all routines and helped lead her team with energy and creativity. Her leadership and commitment naturally carried into her collegiate years at Kansas State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater with a concentration in Dance.
At K-State, Kristin trained extensively in ballet, jazz, modern, and tap while working closely with distinguished faculty including Julie Pentz, Neil Dunn, and David Ollington. She performed in numerous Winter and Spring Dance concerts and was deeply involved in the campus arts community. Kristin was a proud member of the Kansas State Theatre Organization (KSTO), served as treasurer of the K-State Kandance team, and performed throughout the community as part of the K-State Tap Dance Organization. She was also a member of Tap To Togetherness, an outreach program led by Julie Pentz that uses rhythm and movement to connect families and communities through the joy of tap dance.
Her commitment to service extended into her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, where she dedicated herself to philanthropic initiatives and volunteering both on and off campus. Kristin also choreographed multiple routines for campus-wide events like Wildcat Request Live—leading her team to a win in 2014.
After college, Kristin explored a new path, moving to Florida where she began working with Salt Life. She quickly rose to the position of District Manager, overseeing 10 retail locations across the U.S. while based in Houston, TX. Though successful in the business world, Kristin remained grounded in her love for dance and performance.
Now, as Head Coach at Neosho County Community College, Kristin brings her dynamic background in dance, choreography, cheerleading, and leadership to the Spirit Squad. Her mission is to empower students to grow not only as performers, but as individuals—embracing discipline, creativity, and collaboration in all they do.
A lifelong learner and believer in the power of growth through experience, Kristin approaches coaching with energy, empathy, and an open heart. Outside of the studio, she loves spending time outdoors, traveling, and sharing moments with her family and friends.
