Coach Alexander's Philosophy:
Coach Alexander's program seeks to build on players core values each and every year. Her philosophy emphasizes "trusting the process". This process revolves around several commitments that serve as the teams core values. These values are: communication, integrity, and success.
Neosho Softball Core Values:
Communication: A commitment to communicate with coaches, teachers, teammates, no matter the situation
Integrity: A commitment to having strong moral principles. Players will showcase respectfulness, honesty, hard work, and responsibility. Players will make a commitment to do the right thing no matter what the circumstance.
Success: A commitment to do your absolute best in the classroom, on the field, and in life. Neosho County softball players not only succeed on the field, they succeed in life.
Before coming to Neosho, Alexander was a key part of the Labette Community College coaching staff that posted some of the best records in the programs history. In 2011, her final full season with the Cardinals, she helped guide them to a school best 46-14 record along with Jayhawk Conference and Region VI Championships, and the programs first ever trip to the NJCAA National Tournament.
A standout player at Labette, Alexander earned All-Conference honors for the Cardinals before transferring to Bacone College in Muskogee, Okla.
