Biography
High School: Finished high school with a career record of 130-16 and placed at the state tournament twice, finishing 3rd as a junior and winning a state championship as a senior. Also finished 8th at the prestigious Junior Freestyle National Tournament in Fargo, ND, placed 5th at the USAW Folkstyle National Tournament, was a 2 time Southern Plains Regional Freestyle Champion, and wrestled for the Missouri National team twice at the Freestyle Junior Duals tournament.
Personal: Coached by Kevin Fowler and Jason Moore…His favorite wrestler is Kyle Dake “because he is the greatest of all time”…Greatest sports moment was becoming his high schools first ever state champion in wrestling…He is the son of John and Theresa Filipek.
