Jake steps onto the Neosho County Campus with one thing on his mind and that’s the Jayhawk East Conference Championship. Jake was one of the states most highly sought after recruits. Stoppel was the states 3rd leading scorer at 27.9 points per game. He was 1st team all-state in basketball, 2nd team all-state in football, he also played baseball and at the state track meet he competed in the 100, 200, 400 and long jump.
 
Coach Coombs looks for great things from Stoppel: “Jake isn’t a guy that can just score the ball, He has the complete game. He’s a team player, he rebounds and passes really good and he a tough kid that will lock up on the defensive side of the ball.” Jake will be a fun player to watch and a crowd favorite.
