Neosho County Community College Athletics is proud to announce the promotion of Hailey Spring-Clark to Head Spirit Coach, marking an exciting new chapter for the Spirit Squad program.

Spring-Clark joined Neosho in August as Assistant Spirit Coach and quickly made a lasting impact on the program through her energy, organization, and athlete-centered leadership. Since relocating to Chanute, she has played a key role in daily practices, choreography support, recruiting efforts, and game day operations while helping strengthen the culture and competitive focus of the squad.

A former student-athlete at Ottawa University, Spring-Clark was a standout member of the competitive cheer program and contributed to a third-place NAIA Conference Championship finish during her time with the Braves. She also competed at the prestigious NCA College Nationals in Daytona Beach, Florida, and participated in multiple NCA training camps throughout her career.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Coaching. In addition to her cheer background, she gained broad team operations experience serving as an intern with both women's basketball and women's flag football. Her combined experience as an athlete, intern, and assistant coach has shaped a leadership style built on discipline, consistency, creativity, and pride.

With the recent promotion of Kristin Chase to Director of Communications and Assistant Athletic Director, the head coaching role opened at a pivotal time for the program. Chase shared her strong support for Spring-Clark stepping into the position:

"I am incredibly excited to pass the torch to Hailey as our new Head Spirit Coach. From day one, she has led with passion, professionalism, and a true heart for our athletes. She is more than ready for this opportunity, and I fully support her vision and leadership as she takes the program forward."

Spring-Clark becomes a first-time head coach with Neosho, and the department is enthusiastic about the future direction of the Spirit Squad under her leadership. Known for her attention to detail and competitive drive, she brings a clear commitment to athlete development and program growth.

Neosho Athletics looks forward to the continued evolution of the Spirit Squad and the positive momentum ahead under Coach Spring-Clark's leadership.
