Kansas City, KS - The Neosho County men's basketball team closed-out regular season play with a loss on the road to Kansas City Kansas Community College 80-67.  The Panthers were unable to overcome foul trouble in the first half and trailed KCKCC 43-31 at halftime.  The Blue Devils were 16-17 from the free throw line in the first half.

The leading scorer in the game for Neosho County was freshman Champ Powaukee with 19 points.  Other Panther's scoring in double figures were freshman Adyn Prophete with 18 points, and redshirt sophomore Michael Doria with 11 points.  Leading the way on the glass for the Panther's was sophomore Damian Jones with 6 rebounds.  Champ Powaukee and redshirt sophomore Aaron Doria both added 5 rebounds.  Neosho County had 14 assists in the game and was led by Aaron Doria with 6 assists.

Neosho County finished regular season play with a 3-11 conference record, and a 10-18 overall record.  The Panthers will play Kansas City Kansas Community College at Metropolitan Community College-Penn Valley on Monday in the first round of the Jayhawk League Tournament.
