Quincy, IL - The Neosho County Panthers came out blazing in Quincy on Friday night, using a monster first quarter and a barrage of threes to power past John Wood Community College, 88–61, and move to 8–6 on the season.
Neosho set the tone immediately with a 30–6 first quarter, flying around defensively, forcing turnovers, and knocking down shots from everywhere. The Panthers hit 16 threes, shared the ball well with 28 assists, and saw 47 points from the bench, showcasing the depth and #94feetofchaos identity.
- Laynie Winfrey stayed hot from deep, dropping 12 points on four triples and grabbing 3 rebounds.
- Sophia Mireles matched her with 12 points and added 4 boards and 2 steals, giving Neosho sparks in multiple stretches.
- Bauke Graulus was incredibly efficient, going 5-for-6 for 12 points, adding 4 rebounds, and steadying the second unit.
