Trenton, MO- The Neosho County Community College women's basketball team wrapped up its pre-Christmas schedule on Saturday afternoon with an 83–64 loss to North Central Missouri College in Trenton, Missouri.

North Central Missouri built an early lead and carried a 44–26 advantage into halftime. Neosho continued to compete throughout the second half, showing resilience and energy, particularly in the third quarter where the Panthers scored 21 points and attacked offensively.

Sophia Mireles led Neosho with 12 points, consistently getting to the basket and drawing contact. Chloe Parker followed with 10 points, while Divine Brown provided a spark off the bench with 8 points and two blocks. Dagmara Kacprazak added 6 points, going a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.

The Panthers showcased their depth with 36 bench points, receiving contributions throughout the lineup. Ta'Neah Jones led Neosho on the glass with five rebounds, and the Panthers finished with 30 points in the paint while continuing to apply defensive pressure.

Despite the final score, Neosho competed for all four quarters and held North Central Missouri to just 12 points in the fourth.

Saturday's contest marked the final game before Christmas break for the Panthers, who will now reset and regroup before returning to action in the new year.
