Chanute, KS - The Panthers hosted Murry State College, OK on Tuesday Nov, 4th and defeated Aggies 30-22.
Tanner Putt (Fr. Carthage, MO) started the Panthers off at 125 with a fall over Desmond Mayfield.
Evan Coble ( So. Severy, KS) and
Maleek Ayonrinde (So, Owings Mills, MD) both won by forfeit at 141 and 184.
The Panthers were down 18-22 going into the final two matches when
Draven Pipkin (So. Spring Hill, KS) won by fall over Brayden Tomlinson at 197 putting the Panthers up 24-22.
Cael Barber (So. Argyle, TX) then secured the victory at 285 with a fall over Garrett Henry.
The Panthers will be back on the mat on Friday, Nov. 11 as they travel to Atchison, KS to compete in the Loosbrock Duals. Wrestling begins at 5:00 pm.
