Parsons, KS - The Neosho Panthers Wrestling team opened the 25-26 wrestling season at on Thursday evening and fell 40-9. The Panthers were led by
Cael Barber (Argyle, TX) at 285 who won by fall over Gage Wingerter and
Draven Pipkin (Spring Hill, KS) picking up a 6-4 decision over Chance Meggs.
Coach Hansen said, "There are others in the lineup who we expect more from but they did not show up tonight. All we can do is learn from the experience, get back on the mats, improve and move forward."
The Panthers will host Murry State College on Tuesday, Nov. 4 and then travel to Atchison, KS for the Loosbrock Duals Friday Nov. 7th.
