Lady Panthers Dominate Metro With 109–61 Win

KANSAS CITY, KS — Neosho County put together its most explosive offensive performance of the season on Saturday, overpowering Metropolitan Community College 109–61 to close out the KCKCC HOF Classic with authority.

After a slow first quarter, the Panthers flipped the switch and never looked back, outscoring Metro 91–37 over the final three quarters.

Neosho was unstoppable from deep, knocking down 24 threes, shooting 42% from beyond the arc, and turning defensive pressure into 44 points off turnovers. The bench was electric, combining for 73 points.

Chloe Parker led all scorers with 17 points, drilling five threes and adding 7 steals in a dominant two-way showing. Laynie Winfrey was everywhere again, finishing with 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, and the team's tone-setter on both ends. Sophia Mireles stayed hot, dropping 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting with three triples. Desiree Williams matched her firepower with 11 points, hitting big shots and adding a steal. Bauke Graulus was a spark plug: 10 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and active defensively. Jaida Harris gave a strong lift with 8 points and 6 rebounds, including key plays during Neosho's second-quarter surge. Janae Davis added 5 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals, doing all the little things that fuel Neosho's identity. Dagmara Kacprazak  (4 pts), Divine Brown (8 pts), Maila Tashiro (9 pts), Azura Clark (6 pts), Ta'Neah Jones  (4 rebs, 2 ast.), and Shinie Suzuki  (5 pts, 3 ast., 3 stl.) all added to the Panthers' 94 feet of chaos.

The Panthers erupted for 35 points in the third and 31 in the fourth, turning Metro turnovers into instant offense and extending the lead to 50 in the closing minute. Neosho's pressure, depth, and shot-making overwhelmed the Pirates as the game wore on.
