Chanute, KS - The Neosho County Men's basketball team lost a home conference game to Allen County Community College 72-66 on Saturday afternoon. Allen County made 9-three pointers in the first half and led 39-27 at halftime.  The Panthers outscored Allen 39-33 in the second half but were unable to get closer than 4 points.

The leading scorer in the game for Neosho County was sophomore Damian Jones with 25 points.  Other Panther's scoring in double figures were freshman Champ Powaukee with 16 point and freshman Adyn Prophete with 12 points.  Redshirt sophomore Michael Doria added 9 points.  Damian Jones and Champ Powaukee had 10 rebounds to lead Neosho County on the glass. The assist leaders in the game for the Panthers were Champ Powaukee and Michael Doria with 6 . Damian Jones added 4 assists.

Neosho County is now 8-9 on the season and 1-2 in conference play.  The Panther's resume play on Wednesday with a conference road game at Labette County Community College at 7:30 PM.
