Neosho v. Southeast Iowa
Friday's game one ended in a 6-4 loss after Southeast Iowa pushed two across to take the lead after being tied 4-4 in the 6th inning. Lainey Howard, Annsleigh Morris, Addyson Easter, and Jessica Petric each collected one hit. Howard, Morris, Braxton Stainbrook, and Easter each drove in a run. Nine walks were accumulated by the Panthers with Brinly Bancroft and Easter each taking two. The Panthers turned their first double play of the season. The Panthers had three stolen bases.
Neosho v. Missouri State-West Plains
Friday's game two ended better where the Panthers took the win 7-2. Leading the Panthers was Caitlyn Myers where she hit two home runs and drove in two. In the second inning, Myers hit a solo shot to get the Panthers on the board. The bat didn't stop there as Lainey Howard would hit a two-run homer in the third. Myers did it again in the fourth with another solo shot. Brinly Bancroft wanted in on the action and hit a solo to center field in the fifth. Annsleigh Morris would also drive in some runs for the Panthers. Logan Cates was in the circle and took the win for your Panthers. Cates had eight strikeouts and zero walks.
