Creston, IA - The Neosho County Men's basketball team lost to Southwestern Community College in Creston, Iowa Tuesday night 64-51. The Panthers jumped out to an early 9-2 lead before trailing at halftime 28-20.
Neosho County was led in scoring by redshirt Sophomore Joel Jerry and freshman Champ Powaukee with 10 points each. Sophomore Damian Jones added 9 points for the Panthers.
Freshman Jakub Pasieczny had 7 rebounds to lead Neosho County. Redshirt sophomore Aaron Doria added 6 rebounds, while Champ Pewaukee added 5 rebounds. Damian Jones had 4assists to lead the Panthers. Redshirt sophomore Michael Doriaadded 3 assists.
Neosho County is now 2-6 on the season and resumes play with games against Illinois Valley Community College and Spoon River Community College on November 29th and 30th at North Central Missouri College.
