Chanute, KS - Neosho women's soccer faced Allen County community college. Both teams were ranked prior to the game and in good form so it was always going to be a tough fixture. Neosho started the game out poorly as they lacked intensity off the ball and looked lethargic in possession, still though Neosho went up 1-0 when Olivia Gibson scored. Neosho didn't really improve their performance in the second half but were able to stand up to the threat that Allen caused. Allen was a threat with their front players who were pacey and lively, while they also put a lot of balls in the box which Neosho stood up well too. Neosho managed to see out the fixture but need to play better than that moving forward to avoid any upsets.
