Chanute, KS - Breaking the 100-point mark for the second time in this young season, the Neosho County Community College women's basketball team would ease their way to a 117-75 home win over the Oklahoma Wesleyan JV team Tuesday night.
Finishing the game going 46-for-114 (40.4 percent) from the field, the Panthers would connect on a season-high 11 threes and go to the line 20 times while making 14 attempts (70.0 percent). Neosho would out rebound the Eagles 57 – 46 which included 31 defensive rebounds to go along with 50 forced turnovers and 31 steals.
With six players in double-figures,
Jahniya Brown would lead all scorers in the game by finishing with 20 points on 8-of-16 shooting, 8 rebounds, and 6 steals.
Myah Coleman scored 17 points and had 4 steals, while
Natalie Mesa had 14 points and 7 rebounds.
Toriauna Douglass and
Cayanna Stanley each added 12 points and 5 steals combined.
