Fort Scott, KS- The Neosho County Panthers defeated the Greyhounds 88-75, despite a late 4th quarter surge by Fort Scott that significantly chipped away at the Neosho lead.
Neosho used pressure defense and forced the Greyhounds into 36 turnovers and came away with 24 steals.
Zariyah Washington dropped 17 points to lead all scorers, grabbing 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
Chantoryia Rivers was next in scoring with 14 points, 9 boards and 4 steals.
Sarah Hunt added 12 points and 4 steals while sinking all four of her foul shots.
Jenna Eytcheson chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Briona Jensen grabbed 13 rebounds and 7 points, while
Im'Unique White also added 7 points and 3 steals.
The Lady Panthers are now 15-7 overall and 5-4 in the KJCCC.
The Lady Panthers will travel to Allen County Community College on Saturday afternoon to take on the Lady Red Devils. Tip-off is set for 2:00 pm.
