Chanute, KS —The Neosho Lady Panthers scored 129 points for the second straight game and broke the scoring record under the tenure of Coach Davis with a 129-75 victory over the Kansas Wesleyan Coyote's, on Thursday.
Neosho's bench provided a spark as
Jahniya Brown scored a career-high 18 points as the freshman from Lafayette, LA, went 7 for 10 from the field and 1 for 2 from three-point range. Neosho's bench scored 66 of the team's 129 points.
Chantoryia Rivers led in scoring with a game-high 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for her first double-double of the season.
Im'Unique White added 19 points while
Khalayah Willis chipped in 13.
Kori Babcock scored 11 points and pulled down 8 boards.
Myah Coleman dropped 10 points in her 8 minutes of play.
Neosho was also on the mark defensively forcing 42 Coyote turnovers and coming away with 23 steals led by
Im'Unique White with four thefts.
The Panthers will now look to add another win to their record as they face off with Friends University on Saturday, November 5th at 2:00 PM inside Panther gymnasium.
