Chanute, KS - The Neosho Women's Basketball team struggled offensively in the first half against Tabor Tuesday night only shooting 8-44 from the field. Heading to the locker room at half down 25-35.
The Panthers still had some cold shooting moments from the field in the second half but managed to push through and find their rhythm scoring 21 in the third and 23 in the fourth, leading to a Panther win, 69-63. The Panthers improve their record to 8-2.
The Panthers were led by Sophomore
Zariyah Washington with 15 points and 7 steals. Sophomore
Kori Babcock added 12 points and 4 steals. Sophomore
Chantoryia Rivers also scored in double digits with 10 points, 4 steals, and grabbed 6 boards.
Im'Unique White chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds.
The Panthers will be back in action on Thursday December1st. Neosho will host Missouri Valley College. Tip-off is set for 5:30 pm.
