Chanute, KS - The Neosho Panthers fought back to win an overtime thriller Friday night in Panther gymnasium. The Panthers had four players score double figures in an overtime Thriller, beating Southeast Community College by a final score of 93-90. Sophomore leadership helped guide the Panthers to get a victory over a powerhouse junior college from Nebraska. The victory improves the Panthers to 7-1 on the year.
Kori Babcock led all scorers with 22 points and 2 steals, making this her 4
th game this season with double figures. Babcock hit the game-tying three-point basket to force overtime.
Chantoryia Rivers chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds
Jahniya Brown and
Zariyah Washington knocked down 12 points apiece and combined for 5 steals in the game.
The Panthers will now look to add another win to their record as they face off with Connors Community College on Saturday afternoon November 26th at 2:00 PM on the road in Warner Oklahoma.
