Chanute, KS - The Panthers came out flat against a hot shooting Oklahoma Wesleyan team and found themselves down by 19 part way through the first half. Poor shooting plagued the Panthers throughout the game, but especially in the first half as they trailed 27-39 at the break.

NCCC mounted a comeback, however, behind good efforts from Jamarion Butler (17 points), and Shaun Holmes (10 points), who were able to find success by going inside and attacking in transition. The Panthers cut the lead to 2 in the final minute, but couldn't buy a 3 pointer and ultimately lost 62-68. They shot 2/22 from deep, and 24/62 from the field.
