Chanute, KS- Thursday evening the Neosho Panthers Women's basketball team fell to Tabor College by a score of 53-72. The defeat drops the Panthers to 9-3 on the year.
Taniya Tease chipped in 14 points while gathering five rebounds and five steals on the night.
Chantoryia Rivers added 10 points and seven rebounds for the Panthers.
Jenna Eytcheson put herself in position two different times to get charge violations called on the opposition. As a team the Panthers forced Tabor into 21 deflections and 38 turnovers.
Coach Davis adds 'We expected a sluggish start as this is our first game back after Christmas break. Our full-court defense was good and we were forcing turnovers, we just had trouble converting those turnovers into points on the offensive end.'
The Panther's next game will bring the opening of KJCCC play as the Hesston Larks will come to town for a 5:30 tip on January 12th.
