CHANUTE, KAN- Neosho Women's Soccer Falls to Allen County 6-0

How it Happened:

Neosho County hosted Allen Community College at 6PM Wednesday evening in their home opener. Allen opened the scoring after a miscue in the Neosho defense lead to self-induced goal by the Neosho defender in the opening five minutes of the game. This set Neosho back and Allen came on strong scoring three goals in quick succession. Within twenty minutes of the game the panthers found themselves 3-0.

After the slow start the Panthers then improved their game and pushed forward creating a few smaller chances. However, Allen put another shot past Panther goalkeeper Ursula Romero right before the half time interval. The Orange and Black then started the second half with a spring in their step and pushed forward to try and get a goal back. The effort in the second half from the Lady Panthers was excellent. Unfortunately, with them pushing so many numbers forwards, Allen countered and put another one in the back of the net, making it 5-0 in favor of the Red Devils.

Allen then finished the game by scoring their final goal with around ten minutes left on the clock. The Lady Panthers fought in the second half and showed great improvement in the second half.
