Panthers Swept by NEO on Road

Game 1: Panthers Struggles to Find Groove Against NEO
Neosho had a tough time generating runs on Thursday, dropping game one with NEO 12-2. The Panthers lead off hitter Journee Zito fired up the offense in the first inning b hitting a solo home run. Neosho scored again in the third, however, that was all the scoring that the Panthers would get done. NEO pulled away for good with eight runs in the second inning. Olivia Cummings started the game but Ravin Moore took the loss for the Panthers. The right hander lasted three innings, allowing three hits and two runs. Zito went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Neosho's offense. Fuller also contributed offensively with a double on the day.

Game 2: Neosho Loses Lead Early but Falls to the Golden Norseman
The Panthers couldn't recover in a 2-0 loss in game two. The pitching was strong on both sides. NEO pitchers struck out four, while Neosho's Cassidy Paulson sat down two. The righty lasted six innings, allowing three hits, and two runs while striking out two. Offensively, Neosho scattered five hits throughout the game.
