The Panthers hosted Kansas Wesleyan University on Monday night. The Panthers played a tough uphill battle against Kansas Wesleyan, in a 73-67 win in the home opener. Coach Davis said, "when you play your first game of the year, you never know what you will get out of your kids." Davis added, "Give Kansas Wesleyan credit, they came out and made shots in the second quarter, which put us on our heels." The Panthers forced 27 turnovers and had 16 offensive rebounds.
