The Neosho Way Women's Basketball program to open season with KWU

The Neosho Way Women's Basketball Program will open its 2021-22 season on Wednesday November 3rd when it plays at KWU JV. The Panthers and Coyotes will tip off at 5:30 p.m. at the Panther Gymnasium in Chanute

Opening tips:

* Neosho Panther went 5-17 a year ago and finished 11th in the Jayhawk Conference.

Talking points:

* In a more normal season, Neosho would be going into its regular-season opener having played the Black and Orange scrimmage and then 4 exhibition games.

"Having a few games under our belt, both for a learning experience and for us to try different lineups, have been fantastic," said ninth-year coach JJ Davis.

Upcoming:
"There will be some familiar actions that Neosho has done in the past," said Davis when asked about what fans can expect from his team. "And there will be things that will be new based on our personnel.
