CHANUTE, KS. - Despite allowing 52 second-half points the Panthers got the win over the Cloud County T-Birds with sharpshooting and a balanced scoring attack.  The Panthers had five guys in double-digit scoring to help secure a 91-85 victory on Neosho's homecoming night.

The Panthers would take an early lead going 15 of 29 (51.7%) from the field and 7 of 12 (58.3%) from downtown.  The Panthers would take their largest lead of the night by 11 points with just 6:55 left in the first half.  The Cloud County T-Birds would make a late run to cut the Panthers lead and both teams would head for the locker rooms with the orange and black leading 40 to 33.

In the second half, the T-Birds would come out shooting as they knocked down 6 of 11 from deep and eventually took the lead after a 10 to 0 run.  The Panthers would respond with a flurry of threes hitting on 8 of 13 (60%) from deep.  The Panthers would ultimately finish off Cloud late in the game as they shot 9 for 11 from the charity stripe handing the T-Birds their second loss in a row.
