Ark City, KS - It was a tough day on Thursday March, 21st for Neosho Softball, who lost both games to Cowley County Community College. The Panthers fall 11-2 in game one. Kaelee Escoe took the loss for the Panthers. She went five and a third innings, allowing 11 runs on 14 hits and striking out one. Neosho tallied one home run on the day. Sierra Spurlock had a long ball out to deep left center in the third inning. Spurlock went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Neosho in hits.

In game two, four hits from Kaelee Escoe weren't enough as Neosho fell to Cowley 10-7 in game two. Escoe doubled in the second, singled in the third, homered in the fifth, and doubled in the seventh. Neosho lost despite out-hitting the Tigers 15 to 9. After Neosho scored one run in the top of the sixth. Panthers scored when Kinsley Stewart singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Ryleigh Chaffin took the loss for Neosho. She went four and a third innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out three. The Panthers hit one home run in game two. Escoe went for the long ball in the fifth inning. Neosho scattered 15 hits in the game. Escoe, Sierra Spurlock, Madi Phillips, Stewart, and Kat McManus all collected multiple hits for Neosho. Escoe went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the Panthers in hits.
