Chanute, KS. – Neosho roared back with a second half comeback attempt, erasing an 18-point deficit, but eventually fell to Cowley, 96-84, Saturday.
Chrissy Brown led the way with 24 points, while
Kelcey Hinz finished with 22 points, 19 rebounds, 2 blocks and 3 steals.
Destiny Stewart knocked down 15 points off the bench and had 6 assists.
Jessica Jones came away with 11 points and 6 assists.
Neosho forced 22 Cowley turnovers on the day. Neosho had trouble finding its shooting stroke in the second quarter and was outscored 32-14. Neosho won three of the four quarters.
The Panthers will travel to El Dorado Wednesday, February 13
