"I thought we did a nice job sharing the basketball and taking great shots." Said head coach
Jeremy Coombs. "The guys are starting to find that when we move the ball and make the defense work, they are getting high percentage shots."
The Panthers would dominate the glass grabbing 55 rebounds compared to the Mavericks 31 rebounds. The Panthers also cleaned up the offensive glass, turning 19 offensive rebounds into 21 second-chance points.
The Panthers forced the Mavericks into 21 turnovers while committing 12 themselves.

Trey Bates from the top of the key. The Panthers would never look back and would finish off the Mavericks with a monster dunk by Davonte' Yates.
Panthers now 2-1 in conference play. The Panthers will hit the road Wednesday to Barton County for their final game before Christmas break. Â
"This will be a tough one as all road games in the Jayhawk are." said Coombs "But I'm excited to see how the guys compete and handle the adversity of life on the road."
