Chanute, KS - The Neosho County women's basketball team ran into a rough week of conference play. On Wednesday the panthers faced Hutchinson, an 8th ranked team in the country followed by Northwest tech on Saturday. The Panthers are having a hard time guarding the three-point line. 

The Panthers had three players score in double figures in both games shooting 29 % from the field in both games. As a team, they shot 37% from the floor. The Panthers went 10-39 from deep in both games. On the other side of the floor, their counterparts connected on 24 three-pointers between both games.

The biggest differences in both games were turnovers and three-point shooting. The Panthers had a season-high in both games with 22 turnovers that caused the panthers to struggle on their transition defense.

The Panthers travel to Great Bend KS on Wednesday to take on the Cougars of Barton County. Tip-off set for 5:30.
