Box Score Chanute, KS - Neosho fell 60-78 in their first conference game of the season to Doge City Saturday.
Neosho finally found their pace in the fourth quarter but that was too late in the game. Neosho outscored Dodge City 22 to 21 in the fourth quarter. Dodge City did a great job holding the panthers down in the first three quarters.
"I felt like Dodge outworked us all game," Davis said. "That's normally what happens in this building. I feel like the nerves got the best of us tonight. Coach Noll has done a really nice job of building his program.
Sophomore Jessica Jones led the Panthers with 22 points. Chrissy Brown had her seventh consecutive double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds.
"The way we play we have to get more production out of our bench, or our post players. Either way, we have to be better in both of those areas," Davis said "We will go back to work on Monday and continue to work on the process."
Neosho will go to Hutchinson Community College on Wednesday December 4th and will host Northwest Tech on Saturday December 7th. Tip off set for 5;30 p.m.
