Chanute, Kan. – The Neosho Panthers continued their hot start to the season with their fourth straight win at home, downing Missouri Valley 102-54 to improve to 4-2 on the year.
Playing their second game in just four days, the Panthers came out with an attacking mentality in the first half against the Vikings. Neosho shot 45% from the floor in the first half.
In the second half the Panthers continued to keep things going on the offensive end and shot 44% including 14-47 from behind the three-point line.
Chrissy Brown led the Panthers with a career High fourth Double-Double with 21 points and 10 Rebounds, knocking down 4-11 from beyond the arc and dishing out 7 assists.
Hayley Stiger added another Double –Double with 14 points and 10 Rebounds.
Jessica Jones chipped in 12 points. Freshman Kaley Woodruff added 10 points and 4 steals.
The Panthers will continue their rugged stretch of games tonight when they host McPherson College at 5:30. The Panthers will travel to Colby on November 27 and will host Dodge City on the 30
th for a 5:30 tip off in their conference home opener.
