Chanute, Ks. - The combination of shooting 42% for the game along with a 46-point second-half from Connors doomed the Neosho women's basketball team as they fell on the to the Cowgirls by the score of 85-63.
Neosho was abysmal from the field all night, finishing 21 of 77 and only going 11 of 35 from behind the arch. The Panthers did shoot 83.3% from the line.
Meanwhile, Berry was especially good from the field, shooting 51.7% including 40% from 3-point range. Neosho was able to force 18 turnovers but were manhandled in the rebounding department, losing the battle 36-50.
Jessica Jones led the way with 15 points while sophomore
Morgan Bolen had 11 points.
Chrissy Brown added 9 points, 9 rebounds, 3 blocks and 3 steals and freshman
Sonya Dozier added eight points.
