Warner, OK- The Neosho Women's Basketball team headed to Oklahoma last week to take on the Cowgirls of Connors State College. The Panthers struggled offensively by shooting just 28% from the field, which lead to the 62-48 loss against the Cowgirls.
The offensive struggles started early in the game for the Panthers. Neosho had averaged so far this season 18 points in the first quarter. Against Connors State, the Panthers only scored 8 points in the first quarter and trailed the Cowgirls 19-8 at the end of the quarter. Neosho's offense got back on track in the fourth quarter, when they scored 27 points, but it was too late in the game to close the gap.

Chrissy Brown with 9 points and 5 rebounds.

Kelcey Hinz added 8 points and 4 rebounds.
The Panthers will be back in action for the first time after Thanksgiving break on Wednesday, November 28
th. Neosho will host Colby Community College in their first
Kansas Jayhawk Conference game. Tip-off is set for 5:30 pm.
