The men struck quickly against Cowley with Josue Villalta finding the back of the net off a beautiful pass from Josh Garcia. The lead wouldn't last for long as Cowley even the match with a goal in the 18th minute. They would tack on two more goals in the 33' and 36' minute to take a 3-1 lead into the locker room at the half.

Neosho didn't take long to cut into the lead when the second half kicked off. Marcos Lucero scored in the 52' off another assist from Garcia. Less than five minutes later Josh Garcia goal in the 57' tied the game up off a long pass over the top from Victor Hernandez.

The score would remain 3-3 as the final seconds of regulation ticked down overtime for the first time this season. Despite scoring chances from both sides over the next two overtime periods, neither team could find the net as they settled for a draw and a single point in the standings.
