Chanute KS-Panthers get a win at home vs Independence with a better shooting night. Neosho would out shoot the Pirates from everywhere on the floor except the free throw line. The panthers would also win the turnover battle. "We played as a team tonight and it shows with a win. Had some guys step up and hit some shots tonight and also got some important stops late. We still have to find a way to step up to the free throw line and knock them down at a higher percentage." Head Coach Jeremy Coombs said after the win. Neosho would be led in scoring by Austin Downing with 15 points.
