After falling short against the #5 Cavaliers of Johnson County, the Panthers looked to get back on track against Wentworth Military College Friday night. The Red Dragons came into Friday's road game with the same record as the Panthers, (0-1), after falling to Central Christian College of the Bible on Wednesday. From the tip the Panthers showed off their new look man to man defense. Coach Davis is typically a zone coach but look to make the change some this season with several athletic returners and some new additions to the roster. The man to man look gave the Red Dragons fits early in the game as the Panthers jumped out to an early advantage and never looked back. Panther Sophomore
Brooke Neal put in 17 points shooting 3 of 4 from the 3 point line to top all scorers as the Panthers won by a final of 102 to 32. Sophomore
Ki'Asha Harris added 11 points and 4 steals, and Freshman Center
Don'tajah Jones added 10 points and 7 rebounds for the Panthers. The Panthers are back at home on Wednesday night November 9
th when they host Ottawa University JV for their final non-conference match up before they host Cowley on Saturday November 12
th for their Jayhawk Conference opener. Tip for Wednesday's game is scheduled for 5:30pm.
