Chanute, KS - The Panthers keep the streak alive by winning a home conference game vs. the Independence Community College Pirates. The Panthers improve to 9-2 in conference play and have won 9 straight games. The game would be a close one through one half. Neosho would have the advantage at the break leadin by s ascore of 37-36. Freddie McSwain would lead all scorers at the half with 11 points. 

The Panthers would start the second half off strong and never look back. Outscoring the pirates 48-36 in the period to get a demanding 85-72 Jayhawk Conference win. Jalen Jackson would lead all scorers in the contest with 29 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. The Panther front court would also come up bug again where Freddie McSwain would finish the game with 13 points and 5 rebounds, and Richard Granberry would finish with 14 points and 4 rebounds.
