ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. – Five players scored in double figures and
Joseph Acuil and
Freddie McSwain each posted double-doubles as the Neosho Panthers closed out the 2014-15 season with an 87-81 win at Cowley College.

Neosho trailed by two at the break, but outscored the Tigers 53-45 in the second half to sweep the season series with Cowley.

Because of a post-season ban as part of NJCAA sanctions handed down earlier in the season, the Panthers trip to Cowley was the final game of the year. The Panthers ended the season with an 18-12 record after forfeiting seven games during the first semester. The Panthers record on the court however was 25-5.

Joseph Acuil finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds for his 19
th double-double of the season. Neosho's all-time leading shot blocker, Acuil recorded four more in the win brining his single season total to 142 and his career mark to 230. Acuil also finished with 602 points on the season which is 15
th on the Neosho single season scoring list. His career mark of 980 is 12
th all-time.

Sophomore
BJ Jenkins finished with a game high 22 points while connecting on 16 of 16 free throw attempts. Jenkins also dished out seven assists in the win. He ends his Neosho career with 958 points which is 15
th all time.

Brett Frantz scored 20 points in his final game as a Panther. Frantz finishes his Neosho career with 130 made 3-pointers and shot 30% for his career.

Deshawn Terrell finished with 14 points and six assists while
Freddie McSwain scored 10 points to go with 12 rebounds.
