Box Score An unusual Sunday game had the Panthers travel to Concordia to take on the Thunderbirds of Cloud County. The Panthers first quarter woes continued as the Thunderbirds came out with a barrage of threes to take an early lead. Their hot shooting continued into the second quarter as the Thunderbirds took a 26 point lead into the half. The second half the Panthers came out with a little life but couldn't find a counter to Kaley Broeckelman's three point shot. Broeckelman hit six three's on the night and finished with 18 points as the Panthers fell 89 to 60. The Panthers were led by redshirt freshman
Kascity Martin who finished with 17 points and freshman
Bianca Valderrama who finished with her first career double-double, 12 points and 16 rebounds. The Panthers finish the first semester of play with a 7-5 record (1-3 in Conference). The Panthers will resume play next semester on January 2
nd as they host conference foe Garden City Community College at 2pm.
