No. 6 Butler cruises past Neosho

Box Score CHANUTE, Kan. – The No. 6 Butler Grizzlies held Neosho to under 20% shooting in the first half while forcing the Panthers into 14 turnovers to lead 50-19 at the half en route to a 100-48 win.
 
Butler jumped out to a 14-2 lead in the first 4 minutes before the Panthers could make a run of their own. Neosho scored five straight to cut the lead to 14-7. Butler would then make a 13-0 run to pull away.
 
Butler pushed the lead out to 50-19 at the half. The Grizzlies shot 53% from the floor and notched 16 assists on 19 first half field goals.
 
Butler would continue to pull away in the second half cruising to a 100-48 victory.
 
The Panthers were led in scoring by Ashley Grant who finished with 23 points and 7 rebounds.
 
The Panthers fall to 11-18 on the year while Butler improves to 29-1. The Panthers will play their final regular season game of the year Wednesday (Feb. 26) when they travel to Coffeyville.
