The Panthers dropped their second game in a row as they struggled to shoot the ball once again and fell to Barton Community College 94-65

Neosho opened the game with an early 10-7 lead but a cold shooting spell would once again haunt the Panthers. After Danielle Randle's jumper made the score 12-9 with 16:57 to go, the Panthers would go 6 minutes without a basket.

Danel Stithem would eventually end the drought with a jumper and Neosho began to chip away at the Cougars lead. After trailing by as many as nine, Neosho cut the lead to 5 on numerous occasions before

Barton once again went on a run and would push the lead out to as many 16 points, but a 6-0 run by Neosho to close out the half made the score 45-35.

The second half the Cougars would begin to slowly pull away as they extended the lead to as much as 35 en route to the final score, 94-65.

Four Panthers scored in double figures in the losing effort led by Danielle Randle who finished with 20 points to go with 11 rebounds. Danel Stithem finished with 15, Ashley Grant had 13, and Jaycee Fourkiller scored 10 in the loss.

The Panthers fall to 3-4 on the year with the loss. They will be back in action Wednesday when they host former Jayhawk Conference foe Fort Scott Community College at 5:30pm.
