Autumn Zenon scored 12 points to lead the Panthers, but it was not enough to overcome a poor shooting night as Fort Scott downed Neosho County 45-27.
Both teams had a difficult time scoring in the opening period and the Panthers went into the locker room at half time trailing 14-10. After holding Fort Scott to 25% shooting in the first half, the Greyhounds shot 53% in the second half and pullled away from the Panthers.
Fort Scott held the Panthers to 25% shooting for the game and forced the Panthers into 20 turnovers.
The loss drops the Lady Panthers to 3-15 overall and 2-4 in Jayhawk Conference play while Fort Scott moves to 6-11 and 1-5 in conference play.
