Neosho entered the championship after an emotional semifinal victory over Allen County but faced a tough challenge against an undefeated Johnson County squad that improved to 32-0 on the season.

The Panthers started the game with strong energy and briefly took an early lead after a three-pointer by Bauke Graulus gave Neosho a 7-6 advantage midway through the first quarter. However, Johnson County quickly responded with a scoring run and finished the opening period ahead 26-11.

Despite the early deficit, Neosho continued to battle throughout the second quarter. A three-pointer from Chloe Parker and key plays from Laynie Winfrey helped the Panthers keep fighting, but Johnson County maintained control and took a 39-23 lead into halftime.

Johnson County extended its lead in the third quarter, using strong inside play and transition scoring to push the margin to 64-36 entering the final period.

The Lady Panthers showed resilience in the fourth quarter, matching Johnson County point-for-point in the final frame. Neosho scored 18 points in the period with contributions from several players, including late three-pointers from Chloe Parker , Bauke Graulus , and Kaozong Yang.

Laynie Winfrey led the Panthers with 15 points, knocking down two three-pointers and going 5-6 from the free throw line. Bauke Graulus added 12 points, including three shots from beyond the arc, while Chloe Parker finished with 8 points on two three-pointers.

Off the bench, Lelani Carter provided a spark with 8 points, while Ta'Neah Jones contributed on the boards with 5 rebounds.

While the final score didn't reflect the heart and determination the Lady Panthers displayed all season, Neosho finishes the year with a 20-12 record and a Region VI runner-up finish, marking a memorable postseason run and a historic appearance in the championship game.

Neosho (20–11) battled through a tight game that featured nine ties and multiple lead changes before pulling away late in the fourth quarter to secure the win and advance to Saturday's championship game.

The first quarter set the tone as both teams traded baskets, ending the period tied at 15–15. Allen edged ahead slightly in the second quarter, taking a 29–26 lead into halftime.

Coming out of the break, the Lady Panthers found their rhythm. A strong third quarter highlighted by clutch shooting from Chloe Parker helped Neosho regain momentum. The Panthers outscored Allen 22–19 in the period and carried that energy into the fourth.

In the final quarter, Neosho took control behind big plays and steady free-throw shooting. The Panthers scored 27 points in the final period and closed the game at the line to seal the six-point victory.

Parker led the Panthers with an outstanding performance, scoring 26 points while knocking down four three-pointers and going 10-for-12 from the free-throw line.

Laynie Winfrey added 16 points, connecting on four three-pointers, including a pair of big shots in the fourth quarter that helped create separation.

Sophia Mireles filled the stat sheet with 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists, helping control the pace of the game and create scoring opportunities for her teammates.

Jaida Harris contributed on the defensive end with 6 rebounds and 3 steals, while Bauke Graulus added 4 rebounds and key minutes in the paint. Off the bench, Dagmara Kacprazak chipped in 6 points, helping provide an offensive spark.

As a team, the Lady Panthers hit 10 three-pointers and shot 76% from the free-throw line, while also forcing turnovers and capitalizing on transition opportunities.

With the victory, Neosho advances to the semifinal round where they will face Allen County on Friday, March 6 at 5:30 PM.

Neosho came out aggressive early, jumping to an 18–12 lead after the first quarter. The Panthers continued to build momentum in the second quarter, using balanced scoring and strong defense to extend their lead to 37–27 at halftime.

The Lady Panthers took full control in the second half. A strong third quarter pushed the lead even further before Neosho exploded for 26 points in the fourth quarter to seal the commanding 80–51 victory.

Chloe Parker led the Panthers offensively with 14 points, knocking down two three-pointers and attacking the basket throughout the game. Jaida Harris and Bauke Graulus each added 10 points, with Harris also contributing three steals on the defensive end. Sophia Mireles chipped in 9 points while helping lead the Panthers' defensive pressure.

Azura Clark provided a spark off the bench with 8 points, including two three-pointers, while Ta'Neah Jones added 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in the paint. Dagmara Kacprazak contributed 5 points from the free throw line, and Kaozong Yang also finished with 5 points.

Neosho's depth played a key role in the victory, with the Panthers scoring 33 bench points and forcing 15 steals that led to 29 points off turnovers. The team shot 46.7% from the field and an impressive 41.2% from beyond the arc while controlling the pace of the game from start to finish.

With the first-round win secured, the Lady Panthers now turn their attention to the KJCCC semifinals. Neosho (18-11, 8-4) showed resilience all afternoon in a game that featured six ties and six lead changes. After trailing 18-17 at the end of the first quarter, the Panthers stayed within striking distance despite shooting just 30.5% from the field. The Blue Devils pushed their largest lead to 11 midway through the third quarter, but Neosho refused to fold.

The Panthers chipped away in the final minutes of the third, then closed the fourth quarter with poise. A clutch three-pointer by Sophia Mireles and steady free throws down the stretch helped Neosho outscore KCK 15-13 in the fourth to force overtime at 57-57.

In the extra period, Jaida Harris delivered in a big way, knocking down two three-pointers and scoring six of her 13 points in overtime alone. Bauke Graulus added five points in the extra frame as Neosho shot an impressive 45.5% in OT.

Despite the late surge, the Blue Devils edged the Panthers 16-15 in overtime to secure the one-point win.

Graulus led the Panthers with 19 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double effort off the bench. Mireles added 14 points, while Harris finished with 13. Laynie Winfrey contributed 11 points, and Chloe Parker chipped in eight. Neosho dominated the bench scoring battle 37-13 and forced 32 KCK turnovers, converting them into 27 points.

The Panthers also controlled the glass with 55 rebounds, including 20 offensive boards, showcasing their grit and determination throughout the contest.

The Panthers exploded in the third quarter, pouring in 37 points to break the game wide open and build a commanding advantage.

The Lady Panthers had firepower from everywhere on the floor, knocking down 21 three-pointers as a team.

Lelani Carter led the charge with 22 points, including six shots from beyond the arc.

Azura Clark added 13 points with three triples of her own, while Chloe Parker and Laynie Winfrey each contributed 12 points.

Jaida Harris added 11 points, connecting on three shots from deep.

Neosho's depth was on full display, with 71 points coming from the bench.

The Panthers also dominated the glass, outrebounding Highland 53-52 and capitalized on defensive pressure by turning turnovers into 42 points.

With the win, the Lady Panthers are 18-10 overall and 8-3 in the KJCCC.

Next up, Neosho will hit the road to Kansas City to take on the KCK Blue Devils on Saturday, for their final regular season game, Feb. 28. Despite the final score, the Panthers showed flashes of grit early and continued to compete against one of the top teams in the conference.

Neosho came out aggressive in the first quarter, jumping out to an early 4-0 lead and trailing by just three at the end of the period, 23-20.

The Panthers shot 40% from the field in the opening frame and battled on the glass, setting the tone with their energy and defensive effort.

Bauke Graulus led the way offensively with 16 points and five rebounds, attacking inside and stretching the floor from beyond the arc.

Chloe Parker provided a spark off the bench, knocking down three three-pointers on her way to 11 points.

Dagmara Kacprazak added six points, while the Panther bench contributed 39 total points in the contest.

Neosho continued to fight throughout the second half, working to generate offense at the free-throw line where they shot 72.2% as a team.

The Panthers also pulled down 47 rebounds and never stopped competing, even as Johnson County's depth and outside shooting proved to be the difference.

Now, the Lady Panthers turn their attention to an important night back home.

Neosho returns to on their home court on Wednesday, February 25, to take on Highland in the final home game of the regular season. Despite the slow start, the Panthers never quit.

Ta'Neah Jones led the charge for Neosho, finishing with 12 points and 7 rebounds while shooting an efficient 6-of-7 from the field.

Chloe Parker and Janae Davis each added 8 points, with  Davis knocking down a pair of three-pointers to help spark the Panthers offensively.

Lelani Carter chipped in 7 points, connecting on two shots from beyond the arc.

Bauke Graulus provided a presence at the free-throw line, finishing with 10 points, while Kaozong Yang added 5 and Sophia Mireles hit a three-pointer during a fourth-quarter push.

Neosho showed its fight in the final period, outscoring Allen 22-9 in the fourth quarter.

The Panthers shot 43.8% from the field in the closing frame and hit four three-pointers in the final ten minutes as they worked to chip away at the deficit.

Jessica Houston added a late basket and converted at the free-throw line during the comeback effort.

As a team, the Panthers knocked down eight three-pointers and finished 16-of-25 from the free-throw line but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.

Neosho will look to regroup quickly as they hit the road Saturday, February 21st, traveling to Overland Park to take on Johnson County. After trailing 16-12 at the end of the first quarter, the Panthers flipped the switch in the second. Neosho outscored Fort Scott 26-10 in the second quarter, taking a 38-26 lead into halftime and never looking back.

The third quarter was even more explosive, as the Panthers poured in 27 points, shooting an impressive 61.1% from the field and 71.4% from three in the period.

Neosho finished the night shooting 41.8% from the field and a strong 48.1% from beyond the arc, knocking down 13 three-pointers.

The Panthers also capitalized on mistakes, scoring 28 points off turnovers, while their bench contributed a huge 33 points.

Leading the way offensively was Kaozong Yang who caught fire from deep, finishing with 17 points and five three-pointers.

Bauke Graulus added 15 points, while Sophia Mireles chipped in 11.

The Panthers also got balanced contributions throughout the lineup. Chloe Parker scored 8 points, and Jaida Harris provided 8 points off the bench, including a key fourth-quarter three.

Inside, Neosho controlled the paint with 30 points in the lane and built a lead as large as 25 points in the third quarter.

Defensively, Neosho held Fort Scott to just 31.7% shooting from the floor and limited the Greyhounds to only three made three-pointers on the night.

The Panthers' defensive pressure and rebounding effort sealed the road conference win.

The Panthers return home on Wednesday, February 18th, when they host Allen County Community College. In a game that featured nine ties and multiple lead changes, the Panthers leaned on balanced scoring, timely three-point shooting, and a dominant effort on the glass to secure the win.

Neosho knocked down 14 three-pointers and finished with 55 total rebounds, including 19 offensive boards that created crucial second-chance opportunities
That extra effort on the boards proved to be a difference-maker in a contest that came down to the final possessions.

Laynie Winfrey caught fire from deep, pouring in 20 points while going 6-of-11 from beyond the arc.
Sophia Mireles added 15 points and five assists, helping steady the offense during key stretches.
 Bauke Graulus controlled the paint with 10 points and eight rebounds, while Ta'Neah Jones contributed eight points and four rebounds.
Chloe Parker and Jessica Houston made their presence felt on the boards, each pulling down eight and seven rebounds respectively and the Panther bench added 25 points in a strong all-around team effort.

Neosho trailed 50-46 at halftime but battled back with composure down the stretch, outscoring Labette in the fourth quarter to seal the two-point win.

Next up, Neosho travels to Fort Scott on Wednesday, February 11, to take on the Greyhounds. After trailing 23-16 at the end of the first quarter and 40-32 at halftime, the Panthers flipped the switch in the third. Neosho erupted for 27 third-quarter points and followed with 26 more in the fourth to completely take control of the contest.

Laynie Winfrey led the charge with a game-high 21 points, knocking down five three-pointers to spark the Panther offense.

Chloe Parker added 12 points, while Jaida Harris  made her presence known on both ends, finishing with nine points and six rebounds to provide a steady inside impact.

Inside, Bauke Graulus contributed six points and eight rebounds, and Ta'Neah Jones added eight points and five boards. Jessica Houston also battled on the glass, pulling down five rebounds to help the Panthers control second-chance opportunities.

Neosho forced 34 turnovers and finished with 17 steals, turning defensive pressure into scoring opportunities throughout the second half. Sophia Mireles finished with seven points and four steals, and Lelani Carter chipped in six points and four steals, helping fuel defensive pressure that shifted momentum in the second half

As a team, Neosho connected on 10 three-pointers and forced 17 steals, turning defense into offense during their second-half surge.

With the win, the Panthers are 15-8 overall, and 5-1 in the KJCCC. Neosho will be at home on Saturday, February 7, to host Labette.
