Chanute, KS - Head Men's Soccer Coach Elliot Chadderton is leaving Neosho County Community College to become the Head Women's Coach at NCAA D2 Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO, a move which will allow him to be close to home every day and spend more time with his growing family. Chadderton has been on an incredible run at Neosho. In his 5 years with the Panthers he earned five KJCCC Conference Championship or Co-Championship titles, one with the women's team in 2023 and 4 straight with the Men's program 2022-2025. In 2024 the men's team won the Conference Title, Region 6 Title, Plain's District Title, and Finished National Runner-up at the NJCAA D2 Men's Championship. He finished his career with the men's team falling just 1 game shy of the Semi-Finals at the 2025 NJCAA D2 Men's Championship. Chanute, KS -  The Neosho County Men's Soccer team suffered their first loss in 18 games in the Region 6 Championship game over the weekend to #15 Johnson County. Johnson came out with a lot of energy early in the first half and grabbed an early lead with two goals propelled by a strong tail wind and Neosho dealing poorly with some defensive clearances in and around the box early in the game that lead to 11 early shots and 8 corner kicks fired off by Johnson. Despite the challenging first half conditions the Panthers increased the energy of the game to close out the half.
